Our books are secondhand – in good to very good condition. We check each copy by hand and package it securely before placing it in the box.

No—the element of surprise is part of the concept. We individually curate each box so you can discover new stories and authors you might never have read otherwise.

All books are in good, complete condition—no missing pages or major damage. Minor signs of wear, such as slightly worn corners or minimal creases, may occur, as the books have already been read.

We use environmentally friendly, partially recycled cardboard boxes and recycled filling material. Each box is lovingly hand-packed to ensure the books arrive safely and plastic-free.

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout and depend on size, weight and destination country.

Yes, we ship within the EU. Please note that shipping costs abroad are higher.

Yes! You can have the box sent directly to the recipient.
